Our Philosophy on Preaching:
Pastor Rob focuses on expository preaching, considering Scripture verse-by-verse in light of the whole. Practical application in each sermon calls for an honest and humble application both by individual Believers and the congregation as a body.
Our Philosophy on Praise & Worship:
Music is an important way to not only praise our Lord and Savior and bring glory to God, but is also an important tool for educating our congregation in correct theology. At Greencastle Baptist, we thoughtfully consider each selection, whether hymn or modern praise song, to make sure it is based in Scripture, is singable as a congregation, and that it will further our understanding of God’s love and grace.
ABOUT US
Our Philosophy on Sunday Small Groups:
On Sundays, we meet at 9:40am for Small Groups, or Sunday School, where we dive deeper into God’s Word. Some of the groups include Retirees, Preschool, Grade, Youth and topical groups such as Managing Your Finances from a Biblical Perspective.
Our Philosophy on Community Groups:
The Bible talks about gathering together in homes (Acts 2:46). Throughout the year, we meet in homes to share a meal and spend time as a body of believers in God’s Word and reaching our communities with the Gospel.
